In this book I reveal the mystery behind what is hindering you from knowing your life-assignment.

The purpose of this book is to help you discover your God-given assignment, live a fulfilled life and function in your calling.

This book gives you proven steps to help you step into your Destiny, clear out confusion, trial and error and deliver into your hands vital keys to access your Destiny.

It was not born out of the love for writing but out of a sense of responsibility. After moving from job to job without fulfilment I came to a place where I needed to know my Purpose – which we refer to as a Calling, Life Assignment and Destiny.

After intensive research, learning from experts and life experiences I discovered my life assignment and I’m now on a quest to help others find their placement in Destiny.

My promise to you is that this book will deliver to you the keys I have learned and applied in my own life. I was privileged to teach for the past eight years, and I have seen massive changes in the lives of those who took advantage of these principles.

PURPOSE - IS WHAT YOU’RE MEANT TO DO, YOUR ORIGINAL INTENT

Purpose lies within, it is not derived outwardly and precedes everything created. Nothing is created without the significance of the purpose it’s intended to serve.

With creation we see that everything was designed to serve a particular function and fulfil a specific assignment. The sun was created to give light and warmth, help the body with vitamin D and D3 and is also beneficial to the plants, and etc. All these things were packaged in the sun when it was created and they are the very reason why it had to be created.

The eye is created to give sight, therefore the need for sight caused its creation. When it sees it is fully functioning in its original purpose.

There are so many things functioning out of their original purpose hence there is so much malfunction going around.

Purpose is the key of knowing your assignment.

When you unlock that mystery, you’ll step into your life’s assignment, which is important to living a fulfilled and victorious life.

The journey to demystify the mystery of what is holding you back from stepping into your assignment has started, so soldier on.

STEPPING INTO DESTINY

The greatest journey anyone can take on this earth is that of self-discovery.

In the history of mankind the human race made amazing discoveries: we discovered planets, galaxies, the universe and other things beyond that. Others even went to the moon, but only a few will live to discover their purpose and talents.

I hope this book will shed some light so that you can find a path leading you to that place called self. If one has discovered who they are, trial and error will not be necessary. Furthermore, trying to become someone else won’t be necessary.

WHO ARE YOU?

"Who am I?" is a very important question that everyone should ask themselves from time-to-time. Life often puts us in situations that have us asking who we are.

Who you are has nothing to do with your name, culture, the color of your skin or religion. But instead has everything to do with your assignment. Your name comes after your assignment, but your assignment will never be influenced by your name. Jesus received the name according to His assignment and He was not assigned according to His name. You are who you are because of the seed of destiny planted in your heart. Your purpose defines you, you don’t define your purpose. You’re defined by the treasures of God in your heart and his assignment for your life. The discovery of God’s plan for you is the ultimate step to self-discovery.

Who am I? That is an important question everyone should ask themselves from time-to-time. Life often puts us in situations that have us asking who we are. When Jesus was at the wedding of Cana and the wine was finished, the responsibility fell on Him to come up with a solution. He tried to shift the responsibility in efforts to hide who He was.

John 2 v11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus said unto him, they have no wine. Jesus said unto her, woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is yet not come.

Jesus was to bring solutions for mankind and when He gave humanity the solution, His glory was revealed. Part of God’s purpose is to place us in situations where we cannot retreat, so that He can expose us to who we’re supposed to be.

For us to clearly see who we are, we have to eliminate the titles and ideologies imposed upon us by man.

John1 v19 - Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish Leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask who he was.

20 He did not fail to confess freely, "I am not the Messiah’’ 21 they asked him, ‘‘Then who are you? Are you Elijah? He said ‘‘I am not’’ ‘‘Are you the Prophet?’’ He answered, ‘‘NO’’.

22 Finally, they asked who are you? 23 John replied in the words of Isaiah the Prophet, ‘‘I am the voice of the one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord’.

For us to discover who we are, we need to eliminate who we are not. John the Baptist was able to admit who he was not, even when they identified him with names associated with greatness. He was asked if he was Christ or the Messiah and he said ‘no’, when asked ‘are you the prophet?’ he still said ‘no’. This man was linked to some of the greatest names and he still chose what God said about him, rather than what men thought of him.

Can you imagine how many people claim to be prophets in this day and age? Back in the day prophets were highly esteemed and were cognizant of the fact that Israel had been without a prophet for over 400 years. There was therefore a need for a mouthpiece of God.

John was not associated with minor Prophets, but with movers and shakers. He was associated with great men like Elijah and yet he still said ‘NO’.

I am a firm believer that God is looking for men like Abraham who are not after titles, so He can unveil the plans He has for them. They then will be able to run with the visions of God and inherit worthy titles such as ‘friend of God’. There is a need for us to be content with who we are ‘‘It is better to be an unnoticed original than to be a celebrated fake’’.

Who you are is defined by the purpose and calling God has for your life. When they asked John who he was he did not tell them his name but he quoted the prophecy of Isaiah, John 1 v23 He said, I am the voice of the one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet, Isaiah.

‘The Voice’ doesn’t sound attractive - can you imagine being given an opportunity to choose a title and your options are Doctor, Prophet, Pastor, Lawyer and ‘the voice’, I can imagine that ‘the voice’ would be your last option, if an option at all. Therefore don’t choose what men endorses but instead cast your energies on what God says about you.

If you can discover what is written in God’s word about you, you would have discovered the plan of God for your life because you are who God says you are. Eternity conceived you before it assigned you, therefore your identity can only be derived from your life assignment.

Men look themselves in the mirror to see their physical identity. Similarly we look ourselves in the spiritual mirror which is the Word of God to discover who we are.

The most important thing to remember is that our names do not define who we are, because most of our names were derived from our parents’ experience and not from God’s inspiration. So surely that can’t define you. When John was asked who he was he did not say ‘I am John’ but rather he said ‘I am the voice’.

Do you carry an eternal or temporary title? Who are you? Are you a soccer star, speaker, TV personality, IT specialist, etc.? It’s okay to do the temporal stuff but it is more beneficial to walk under an eternally ordained mandate. Keep asking God to reveal to you His eternal mandate. However, you don’t have to forsake the temporal because it might be one of the keys to your purpose.

Example using the natural things.

Fish can’t retire from swimming; birds can’t retire from flying and their glory is revealed when they are doing what they
