Becoming Your Own G.O.A.T. - Matt Weik
Introduction
There is no fast track when it comes to being successful and winning in business and life. Nothing works unless you do. With that being said, there are some strategies that I believe will truly help you think and see things in a way that shifts your mindset towards a mentality that anything is possible. This book will showcase the 15 strategies I personally used to win at business and life – and how you can do the same. Understand the thought and principles behind each and you will realize that the sky’s the limit.
––––––––
Strategy #1: Invest in Yourself
No one is going to give you what you want in life – you’re going to need to work for it. That being said, too many people are so focused on spending money on advertising, marketing, publicity, swag, influencers, etc. that they blow all of their money with little return. You should be investing in yourself, FIRST.
You get out of life what you put into it. If you mope around and do nothing all day long, what do you expect the result to be? You need to get out there and make things happen. No one is going to do it for you.
In the same breath, people understand that you’re not perfect – none of us are. However, that doesn’t mean you can use that as an excuse to not go out and work towards bettering yourself, your life, and your business. Invest in continuing education. And I’m not talking about going back to school and racking up debt in the process. Become an autodidact. Learn things on your own.
