Poisoned - John William Hamilton
Poisoning
Chapter 1:
First Human Poisoning
The following is based upon a true story. Hopefully, some of this information may help someone if they are poisoned. I came into the world fighting as a 7-month old premature baby on August 19th, the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ Day, according to the Orthodox faith. I was raised Catholic most of my life, but later in life decided to convert to Orthodoxy. Most of my life was ordinary. I went to a Catholic elementary and middle school. I graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA with a Business Degree. Strangely, both places of education where the infamous Theodore Bundy, serial killer of at least 36 women, attended. I also joined the Coast Guard Reserves and entered the US Air Force as a commissioned officer.
The first instance that my life would not be ordinary happened when I was stationed as an Air Force 1st Lieutenant at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. I had purchased a house near Weber State University. The house was vacant at the time I purchased it. The house seemed like an odd style and design at the time I purchased it. It was colored pumpkin orange and sort of looked like a barn. It was a split level, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with around 2600 square feet.
I had a young girl friend at the time. We were sleeping in the dark one night in the master bedroom when all of a sudden she screamed: Did you see that?
She said there was a light moving along the wall. I looked over at the wall she was pointing to and didn’t see anything. It had disappeared in a few seconds. I told her if she saw it again to tell me again. A few minutes later she screamed again: There it is!
I looked over and I could see it. It was sort of a dimmed light, not bright but glowing against the wall. No car light could shine in this part of the house because the bedroom was up high and faced the back hillside in the backyard. It kind of moved a little but not much. Then it disappeared again.
A few days later, I was sleeping in the master bedroom at night and all of a sudden I had a sensation which felt like an electrical current running through my spinal cord. It seemed like a few hundred volts of electricity. I was shocked at what happened. I quickly turned on the lights but couldn’t see anything. I went back to sleep and around 5 minutes later I had another what felt like volts of electricity go through my spinal cord. I was extremely scared. I didn’t know what was really happening to me. I was always sick after that incident. I had peripheral neuropathy, tingling in my legs and my hair was falling off them. I saw several doctors but no one could determine what was wrong with me. What kind of disease did I acquire? I went to the infectious disease clinic at the University of Utah. They couldn’t help me. I performed an MRI of my brain at McKay-Dee Hospital. Nothing showed up in the MRI scan.
My Sister and her friend visited me at my house after my incident and they also experienced weird experiences. They were sleeping and all of a sudden the door shut that was open next to them. They heard footsteps walk by but no one was there.
I thought I was going to die. My symptoms kept getting worse. I was wondering why God wanted me to have this done to me. My Mother visited the house. She prayed in each room and wrote the sign of the cross in pencil in each wall. I visited a holistic medicine doctor who prescribed me some herbal pills. I must have swallowed 15 or more pills a day. Finally, after a few months the symptoms went away and I was back to normal. Later in my life, I would have another MRI of my brain and the results would not be so fortunate.
The second instance that I would not have an ordinary life changed right after I converted to Russian Orthodoxy. Maybe it was a coincidence; maybe it wasn’t. It was in 2011. I lived in Florida and had a very nice waterfront house on a private lake. It was a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom brick over wood frame custom built house previously owned by a physician. It had 3050 square feet with a dream chef’s island kitchen including cherry wood cabinets, a lap swimming pool, in ground concrete Jacuzzi that could hold 8 persons, outdoor shower and poolside grill. It was my dream house.
An abundance of tropical nature surrounded the property with saw palmettos, traveler’s palms, bird of paradise and majestic oak trees. Most people in the neighborhood kept to themselves with the typical phrase: Hey Joe how are you doing today?
Most are nondescript phrases. Most of my time in that beautiful house that I thought I would live the rest of my life in, was kept to myself. I said the nondescript phrases to my neighbors.
Then one day I decided to invite my next door neighbor in for a Thanksgiving meal. My Father was visiting and I thought it would be a good idea and kind to invite him over. The house next door was built from scratch from the extra parcel of land previously owned by the original owner of my property. The dinner went well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The next evening as I was fishing for bass, catfish or whatever would bite at dusk, my neighbor named Mike came up to me and said to me: John, I need your pool cleaning guy to come over to my house and check up on my pool equipment.
I wasn’t in a very good mood at the time since the fish weren’t biting. I replied back: Mike, you have to get your own pool cleaning guy! You can’t expect me to be home all the time to tell him to come over to your house!
Mike didn’t want to have to pay for monthly pool service and from time to time would ask me to tell my pool cleaning technician to check up on his pool equipment or pool if the algae had gotten out of hand. I had done this several times before as a good neighbor. I could tell by the expression on Mike’s face that he was upset. He clinched his jaws and hurriedly walked back to his house.
The next morning as I was talking to my Father on my cell phone about his recent visit, I could see my fishing pole on the edge of my pool. It was moving back and forth erratically by the side of the pool. I walked over to look into the pool and I could see my Hayward in-ground pool cleaner, which automatically comes on around 8AM by timer clock, was pulling my fishing pole back and forth. I turned off my pool pump, pulled up the hose and saw that someone had cut my fishing line above the bobber and wrapped the monofilament fishing line around the bottom of the Hayward in-ground cleaner. I walked over to my atrium where the pool equipment was and I could see someone had formed a fire ant mound around the PVC pool pipes where it went into the ground. You could tell that it was a freshly handmade mound. The dirt perfectly was laid around each PVC pipe. I had never seen a fire ant mound inside my atrium which was inside my pool enclosure. As the pipes made vibrating the tube, the fire ants became agitated and moved all over the ground.
This was the beginning of the terror on my property over the next year from my next door neighbor. Next as I was riding my bicycle around 15 miles away from the housing development where I lived, I had a phone call on my cell phone. It was my next door neighbor Mike who left a message: John! I told you. You need to get your pool cleaning guy over to check up on my pool equipment!
I had a bad feeling in my stomach as I cycled the rest of the way back home. When I arrived, I walked back to my pool enclosure and could hear a high pitched screeching sound coming from the pool pump motor. I turned off the pool motor. I walked over the in-ground concrete Jacuzzi and I could see that someone had drained the water almost completely out of it. I opened up the DE (Diatomaceous Earth) pool filter and I could see that someone had put around a gallon of sand in it. I knew it was my next door neighbor but how could I prove it?
The terror kept on getting worse. It was hard to sleep at night. I would hear a pine cone drop on my roof and I would immediately jump off my bed. Both my Wife and I were very stressed about the situation. I would call the police when I would hear something on my property and when they would come with their bright flashlights and headlights, he was already gone. They asked me to prove that my neighbor was doing what I said happened. They wanted video proof or some other factual evidence. Evidence that I couldn’t provide. I
