- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is another book in the Discover Series published by Xist. They are multiple authors and subjects. It is a non-fiction early reader book about Dogs. The illustrations are large and simple photographs, not a lot of extra detail unless it aids in the text. The dogs are cute with great expressions. They are various sizes and ages, showing the reader different breeds. Simple facts about the dog are stated in simple language, such as "Dogs come in many sizes. A Chihuahua is a small dog with a big bark". A good book for early readers, especially those who are interested in dogs. It is nice to see non-fiction books in this reading range. A good addition to school, family and class libraries. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.
