My book "100 Pounds to Happiness!" - How a Disabled Woman in Her 50's Lost Over 100 Pounds on Her Own - Learn How, is my journey to lose over 100 pounds on my own, middle aged, without exercise and without cooking, where I found success and better health. It is literally my step-by-step guide showing exactly what I did to reach my goal including adopting a positive mindset and attitude. It includes foods and vitamins consumed at home, advice on how to easily dine out including foods and restaurants, discusses journaling, handling weigh-ins, setting reasonable goals, calling upon past successes to assist now, forgiveness, living in the present and being your own best advocate. Once weight loss goals are achieved, it discusses what to do to adjust your plan for continued success, along with other valuable information. Living with Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia and Sjögrens, in menopause, in my 50's with a slower metabolism, and taking medications that can cause weight gain, I took control back of a life-long food addiction and successfully lost over 100 pounds. Sjögrens and Fibromyalgia brought me great fatigue along with Neuropathy pain, but I changed my mindset, kept a positive attitude and changed my life. Being my own best advocate and watching my health, in the middle of my diet I learned that NSAIDS for Neuropathy pain were affecting my kidneys so I stopped cold using them with the exact same mindset for losing weight and which can help with any health condition. My kidneys have improved and I now use more natural means for pain relief, those natural means also discussed in the book. My story applies to anyone, of any age, health condition and situation to lose and keep off weight, improve health, increase energy, lessen pain, feel better, renew confidence and lead a happier life. By having faith in yourself, adopting a positive mindset and attitude, you too can achieve any goal and find success!

INTRODUCTION
You are about to lose 100 pounds or whatever your weight loss goal is, and keep it off permanently! So get excited!
I lost over 100 pounds, kept it off and I’m going to show you exactly how to do it on your own, safely, permanently, without drugs, support groups, lap band surgery, home cooking or exercise. I personally promise you that if you read this book you will finally be on your way to permanently losing the weight and keeping it off!
If you’re taking unnecessary pain medications that you don’t need that are adversely affecting your health, get ready to learn how to stop taking them with the same mindset! I was taking NSAID pain medications for health conditions and stopped taking them on my own with the same mindset for losing weight and it worked.
Do you need to lose 100 pounds or more, or even 20 pounds? Are you tired of going on diet after diet, giving up after you try and try again and either can’t stick to the diet or get no lasting results? Are you left feeling hopeless and accepting what you think is your fate when you fail, and then give up and not even try to lose weight for months at a time because it’s just too painful? Are you fed up with the expense and defeat of buying countless weight loss books, trying hypnosis, ordering expensive home delivery weight loss meals, joining support groups, and seeing people with before and after photos on TV commercials, while feeling the frustration of not being able to successfully lose weight and keep it off yourself? Cooking at home is good if you are preparing healthy meals, but if you are busy and cannot find the time to do so, or you just aren’t the greatest cook which I am not, would you like to find a way to meet your dieting needs without home cooking? I know exactly how you feel because I have been there myself. I understand and I feel for you.
I gave up and figured I’d just have to accept what I thought was my fate. But I turned it around and I lost over 100 pounds safely. I’m keeping it off and I did it on my own. I’m 58, disabled, middle-aged, menopausal, can’t exercise due to Neuropathy, and I did it without pills or support groups. I’m thin and much healthier now than I was before I lost all the weight.
I also learned how to stop taking pain medications that were not good for me with the same mindset and this book will teach you that too!
This book really works! You may not need to lose much weight or you may need to lose a lot. Here is the key so pay attention - It doesn’t matter how old you are or whether you’re healthy or disabled, if you finally make up your mind you are going to do this, it will work for you. Always remember that. It worked for me and it will work for you; it doesn’t matter what your age or physical limitations or abilities are.
Exercise is important and so are support groups, but due to painful Neuropathy in my legs it was hard for me to exercise. I tried support groups in the past and they are great, but the last time I tried it just didn’t work for me.
My name is Shelley. I got up to 229.5 pounds and I’m only 5 feet 2 inches tall. I got so heavy that when I walked the flab on one leg rubbed against the flab on my other leg. I could hardly fit into any clothes, even from the larger clothes stores. I looked in the mirror and could hardly recognize myself anymore.
I know how you feel because I’ve been there for years and I know the frustration, the longing and the sadness of living a life unwanted. I knew what I had to do and when I finally hit bottom I made up my mind this had to work. You may have finally hit your bottom and have had enough and decided you are going to try again. That’s great. You have to be at a place in your life where you are finally ready to succeed no matter what you safely have to do and how long it takes. You’ve got to make your mind up that this time it’s going to work period!
If you’ve ever lost even one pound, you already know what you have to do! You know you’re going to have to exert discipline, courage, strength and
