      Introduction

      Anybody that truly knows me understands why I am writing a book about awareness. My life has been full of awareness and it has driven me from a live of desperation and darkness to living a life worth talking about.

      I used to be the typical 20 something drinking 5 to 7 nights a week and putting far too much time into my social life. That all started to change when I left Indiana for golf school in Florida.

      When I left, I still returned to going out often and having an active social life, but for the first time, I had a passion in my life with clear goals and something to shoot for. While this happened in high school with making the baseball team, it wasn't the same as I hadn't fallen away from the life I was put here to live yet.

      Golf school was about far more than golf for me, however. Sure, I had a ton of fun and dropping more than 10 strokes off my handicap was great, but neither was lasting. I discovered or rediscovered my love for writing when I was in golf school.

      At that time, I supported myself for three of the four semesters on left over grant/student loan money and Google AdSense websites. That was back when writing content was easy and quick because 250 - 300 words was all you needed. It was also back when you could cheat your way to the top of the lists on Ezine Articles with proxies and other tricks that are long gone.

      Either way, golf school opened my eyes to my true calling/passion/purpose, even though I didn't know it yet. I would often write through easy classes typing away as a teacher was blabbing on about something I didn't need, such as the business writing class, which I could have aced in my sleep. It
