About this ebook

Omega, Chad Templeton, is settling into life with his alpha, Robert Smart. He knows the only reason they’re living together is because he’s pregnant with Robert’s baby. But his feelings toward the alpha seem to grow stronger every day. Sometimes he even fantasizes about actually belonging to Robert for real.

Robert might have originally suggested that Chad live with him under the ruse of keeping him and the baby safe. But the more time he spends with Chad, the more he wants to have something lasting. He’s embarrassed to admit it, but he wants to have a family with Chad.

Can these two men admit that what they feel is worth holding on to? Or will their pride keep them apart?

This is the final book in my Mpreg Family Series. This story is a non-shifter Mpreg set in a contemporary setting. The series is finished and a guaranteed HEA

OMEGA’S CHOICE #3

Mpreg Family Series

By BEAU BROWN

Chapter One

Chad

I observed Robert as we sat on the back patio, overlooking the acres of land he owned. The property was thick with oak trees and spruce pine which grew in patches across the jade green hills. Studying his handsome profile, I sometimes wondered if our baby would look like him, with his perfect, straight nose or me with the little bump that I had on the ridge. We still didn’t know if it would be a girl or a boy and I liked that element of surprise.

I was secretly pleased that Robert didn’t want me to meet up with my ex Scott. I’d never been an omega who took orders from alphas very well, but at the same time it was a nice feeling that Robert didn’t want to share me with anyone else.

I figured eventually I’d have a drink with Scott just to hear what he had to say. He was being annoyingly persistent in trying to woo me back. It was surprising, considering how horribly he treated me when we were actually together.

What would you say to dinner with Tom and Amelia? Robert’s voice broke into my thoughts.

Oh, um… I rubbed my chin thoughtfully. They want to have dinner with both of us? I was a little surprised his family wanted to get to know me better. They were aware that our arrangement was a business one, so I wasn’t sure why they’d want to cultivate a relationship with me.

Yep. Tom called me to invite us over yesterday.

I rubbed my belly. I do love eating.

He chuckled. So is that a yes?

Why not? I sighed, sipping my lemonade.

Great. We should get ready. I told them we’d be there around seven. He set his glass on the little wooden table between our chairs.

"Wait. Tonight?" I squeaked.

He lifted one brow. Yes. Did you have other plans?

Since I never went anywhere other than to my shop and doctor appointments, I knew he was being sarcastic. Well, my dance card is rather full.

Is that right? He smiled, although there was a possessive glint in his eye.

Yes. So many alphas, so little time. I stretched my legs in front of me, patting my poochy stomach.

He leaned toward me. You only need to be worried about one alpha right now.

My stomach flip-flopped at his husky growl. You’re awfully sure of yourself. I still had no idea if he was seeing other omegas. I knew he felt territorial about me because I carried his offspring, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t dipping his wick elsewhere.

He surprised me when he reached over and touched my belly. His eyes were heated and stormy blue as he slid his hand over my bulging shirt. Is there some reason not to be sure of myself?

I shrugged, trying to ignore the feelings his touch brought up in me. You’re an alpha. I guess it’s your nature to be cocky.

I’m confident, not cocky.

Same difference.

No. That’s not true. He scowled. Cocky alphas are smug and arrogant, while confident alphas are merely self-assured.

I chuffed. You don’t think you’re arrogant?

No.

I laughed. Yes you are. You can’t help it.

He snatched his hand away. I’m not.

You don’t want me to see any other alphas, but you haven’t ever said you’re willing to curtail your extracurricular sexual activities. I call that arrogant. I spoke without thinking and immediately regretted it. "N… not that
