The Lights of the Stones

About this ebook
Six hours of training, riding, helping build a wall around Countess Delaney's fortress and now Akuchi had to go to a party. He'd been on battle fields that felt less like a trap than this room did.
Until he realized that this was a true trap, that magic had sealed them all in.
With everyone else caught in the spell, Akuchi was the only one who could decipher the riddle of the lights of the stones.

The Lights of the Stones
Akuchi sighed as he stood behind Prince Cyrille. His feet ached. Six hours of training, riding, helping build a wall around Countess Chizoba Delaney's imperiled fortress and then he'd been called upon to escort Prince Cyrille to this party. A quiet party, discrete out of respect for the threats facing the Countess' lands and people, but still it was a party.
The heavy grey stone walls would have made voices echo alarmingly but Countess Chizoba had directed her people to hang rugs and banners, in some places old embroidered blankets, so as to muffle the noise.
