Starting today, you’ll be more creative.
Every writer needs the ability to be creative on demand
This morning, I spoke with a writer we'll call Sally. Sally's a relatively new writer. She wrote as a side gig for three years.
A few months ago, she become a full-time writer. By that time, her writing income had far surpassed her income from her day job. Not only was her ghostwriting business was thriving, but she'd also released the first book in a New Adult fiction series, and she'd signed a six month blogging contract with a large company.
All should have been well, and it was — then it wasn't. She said: Suddenly my writing business turned into a nightmare.

A couple of her ghostwriting clients vanished. The next book in her fiction series didn't sell. The company for which she blogged ran into difficulties and let her go… I can't believe it!
Sally told me. "I was doing so well. How could everything go so wrong,

No one knows how it happens, but sudden changes are a feature of creative careers. There's even a term for it: feast or famine syndrome.
Luckily, Sally recovered her wits. When her writing was her side gig, we'd worked on instilling some creative habits. She turned to those habits now. Within two weeks, she'd gained five new clients,
