    Stephen Thompson is a retired public health microbiologist who now has the time to ski, golf, take photographs and write. This is his first foray into writing anything other than scientific articles and research papers. Although he was born in Toronto, he was raised in Parry Sound, Ontario. He now lives with his wife near Kirkfield, Ontario.
