- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One table of fruit availability month by month is too small to read on my kindle. As for the rest of the book it is truly excellent. I grow my own fruit and make jam / jelly etc.But this book leaves it open to anyone... when we lived in the city we would take the train out to the country and walk the hedges picking brambles / scour the forest floor for bilberries in the autumn. Reading this book should be an encouragement to all to forage in a respectful and responsible manner.
