Write Your First Novel Now. Book 7 - The First Draft: Write A Book Series. A Beginner's Guide, #7

About this ebook
This little book number 7 assumes that you have done all the necessary preparation. Now it is time to write the first draft of your work.
First draft? Yes, no matter how good you are it will be the first. It will need editing and changing later.
So because it is a draft, you should try to write it as fast as you can. Since it will need editing anyway, don’t edit as you go. Don’t worry too much about it, it doesn’t have to be perfect right away. Getting the story down is what is important at this stage.
Write it as quickly and as often as you can. This technique will unlock the creative part of your brain. You should be aware that writing is creative; editing is not. They use different parts of the brain. Trying to do both at once will stifle creativity.
Write now! Edit later! Write fast!

Write Your First Novel Now. Book 7 - The First Draft - Robbie Kew
ABOUT THIS BOOK
This Little Book is a collection of suggestions and guidance to help a new writer through the process of writing the first draft.
Starting the first draft of a novel or any kind of book can be daunting, particularly if you are not appropriately prepared. This Little Book 7 is a guide to the tools you will need to use and the preparation required before you make that start. Once you are aware of what is needed and when you have adequately prepared yourself, you will know you are ready to make a start. In fact, you will almost certainly be eager to start and watch your book unfold
This book will tell you how to use your outline and your chapter outlines to the best advantage. Your chapter outlines are your most important tool. They will be your friend, your guide, and your map to your story. Use your map and you will not get lost.
––––––––
It will also discuss the value of unleashing your creativity by ‘writing fast’ and not editing as you go. Writing and editing use different parts of the brain; you should not try to do both things at the one time. Write now, edit later.
You will also be reminded of the need for continued planning and commitment. You need to maintain your motivation, and you must commit yourself to a time to write.
This Little Book assumes that you have done all the preparation and you are now ready to start the first draft of your novel or book.
If by chance you have not done the preparation steps, then I suggest you should look at Book 1 in this series of Little Books. It will show you how to prepare in six easy steps.
However, this book does briefly describe how to build those invaluable tools and some handy templates are included.
Make time to write.
Enjoy!
CHAPTER 1 — BEFORE YOU START
I’ve heard tales of many new writers who decide to write a book. They believe they can do it - and no doubt they can. So they make some time and they sit down and they write ‘Chapter 1’ and then they stop.
Most who start this way, don’t finish—unless they go back
