    The earliest evidence of baking found that our ancestors used hot stones as a baking medium to form paste like broth. In this process they soaked grass grains in water and then pour onto a flat, hot stone. With that process a bread-like crusty food is prepared. Later when humans invented fire this paste was cooked on hot embers. This process made this kind of bread-making easier. The world’s first oven was invented 6500 years ago.
