    In the lead paragraph there’s mention of how easily private home decision makers who became victims failed to act on their knowledge of not paying unknown contractors advance money. In a few of the cases mentioned, there’s no evidence that any of these private home heads did their research. They apparently overlooked the fact that it’s not recommended to deal with home service contractors without first thoroughly checking them out. Would you do that? Yet their knowledge of avoiding such pitfalls didn’t save them from being tossed right into them. Here’s where the knowledge of powerlessness falls into place. It entails knowing that many private home residents who are victimized KNOW better not to hire strange contractors but don’t appear to know HOW to successfully avoid doing it. Hence, the leading goal of this critical ebooklet is to demonstrate why some residents are powerless even when knowing better.Finally, in order for us to really know why we see the red flags in home improvement but ignore them, we must really dig beneath the surface since these encounters usually contain underlying factors distinct one from another.
