Let’s Pickle Up - Samantha Stewart
Introduction
Few years ago, I was having the same feeling like other people in the world that instead of going through any trouble; I'll buy up all the canned food from the market. Why preserve all the food myself when I can get it from the market but after trying this technique, I realized that why to pay when I can have it for free. Do you want to give out money for the things that you can have by yourself? Yes, exactly, no one wants to. And most importantly, by this method we can save our excess food as well.
Pickling as you know is a method by which we can preserve our foods, prevent our foods to be a waste. We can pickle our foods by using vinegar, saltwater, and spices. It's quite an easy process.
Before I came across the idea of pickling, I always had to make sure that I buy some pickles and sauces from the market to entertain my guests. And sometimes, I had some rough experiences with the manufactured pickles like they had some spices which I did not like. And after I learned pickling the foods myself, I used some of my favorite spices in it. And then there was no need to take care of my salads. And opposite to what I thought, I really had fun in pickling my food.
It’s your time to have fun. Now you’ll enjoy the mouthwatering taste of different vegetables and fruits in a way
