I had severe symptoms balance problems, couldn't walk without a walker or a power chair, i had difficulty swallowing and fatigue. I was given medications which helped but only for a short burst of time, then I decided to try alternative measures and began on Parkinson's Formula treatment from Dr Hennies Historical Herbs. It has made a tremendous difference for me.

1. What Do Hormones have to do with Weight?
RESEARCH HAS BEGUN to show with greater and greater clarity that obesity isn’t just about leading a sedentary lifestyle, eating too many calories, and metabolism. Yes, sure enough, these things do play a role, but there are other key influencers as well. Take for instance the hormones in our body.
Hormones are chemical messengers. They are responsible for regulating different bodily processes. Clinical studies have revealed that insulin, leptin, growth and sex hormones can influence our appetite, fat distribution in the body and metabolism. Those who are carrying a few excess pounds will almost always have high levels of these hormones. This causes abnormal metabolism and leads to body fat accumulation.
The endocrine system or gland system is responsible for secreting hormone to our blood. The endocrine system, immune system and nervous system all work together to help us carry out bodily functions and manage stress. It’s absolutely essential that you are able to maintain good balance. Any deficit or excess hormone level can weight gain. It works the other way round too – obesity causes hormonal changes in the body. It can be a vicious cycle.
Leptin And Obesity
FAT CELLS IN THE BODY produce the Leptin hormone. It is then secreted to the bloodstream. All of us have fat cells in our body, even the leanest people. Leptin reduces appetite by working on specific brain centers and cutting the hunger pangs. Leptin can also control the way we store fat.
Leptin levels are usually higher in obese people, as fat produces Leptin. However, overweight people aren’t as sensitive to its effect, in spite of the higher of this hormone that reduces appetite. And so, they wouldn’t feel full even after having a good meal. They might end up overeating as a result.
Insulin And Obesity
THE PANCREAS PRODUCES the insulin hormone. We need this hormone to regulate carbohydrates, and also for fat metabolism. Insulin will stimulate sugar (glucose) uptake from the blood in your tissues, fat and liver. This process ensures that you have adequate energy for daily activities. It also ensures normal glucose circulation.
But the insulin signals get lost sometimes in overweight people. Tissues cannot control the glucose
