Introduction
When it comes to camping and hiking many of us really don’t know what we are doing. We are mainly focused on the fun and excitement of going out into the woods and becoming one with nature. We don’t really think about how much work it is to plan, prepare and execute a hiking, backpacking or camping trip.
When it comes to taking one of these trips, you need to really know what you are doing. You need to educate yourselves on the do’s and don’ts of hiking and camping so that your adventure is safe, fun and helps build memories that will last a lifetime.
In this book, we will walk you through the basics of what you need to know and what you need to plan for in order to make your first camping, hiking or backpacking trip a success.
