      Paco was always a good friend. He was pre-retired from Los Altos Hornos de Vizcaya, his health was deteriorated and his appearance was that of a person ten years older. We used to get together to drink some wines and in the last stay last he confessed to me the painful quality of life he was carrying. A short time later, he died alone in his room. The astonishing capacity he had for devouring books could not save him from an early death. The ideas and expressions collected that beautiful morning still vibrate, with too much pain, in the pleasant memory that I have of this singular person.
