Supplies needed
1. Gravel----usually about 2 tons will be enough for a regular size job. If you’re not doing the dry well you will not need as much.
2. Flexible 3 inch perforated pipe (pipe with holes)—measure the inside and outside not forgetting your connecting trench and decide how much you need.
3. Cove plate----again measure OR choose next choice instead.
4. Plastic/vinyl sheeting, anchors/buttons, corner pieces, dividers and top cap.---measure. If you chose cove plate you don’t need this.
5. Pump, pump can, extension cord, check valve, white thread tape if needed.
6. Pvc glue and 1 ½ inch pvc pipe. Usually 1 to 2 pieces will do.
7. 3---90 degree 1 ½ inch pvc elbow joints.
8. 5 gallon bucket of tar is usually enough. If it’s warm it spreads much easier.
9. Concrete—measure
10. 4 foot wide plastic rolls for outside.—measure
11. Perforated plastic if desired, read book to learn more about this.
12. 2—4 inch 90 degree elbows
13. 1 or 2 pieces of 4 inch pvc pipe.
14. 1 reducer/coupling---1 ½ to 4 inch
15. Caulk—to caulk up visible cracks and around pipes or patch work around obstacles. Scraps of sheeting can also be used for patch work.
