Introduction
By following the steps laid out in this publication, you can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars on your next vehicle purchase. I’ll show you how to negotiate to the absolute bottom dollar the dealer is willing to sell their vehicle for, and how to avoid various traps and pitfalls along the way. While I am writing this publication with dealer purchases in mind, many of these techniques are also applicable to private purchases.
Please read all of steps 1 through 6 before making your next vehicle purchase, though you may skip step 5 if you are buying a new vehicle. If you skip a step, you may get trapped by one of the multiple gimmicks dealers use to wring more money out of their customers. You may want to take a peek at the glossary before you begin if you are unfamiliar with some of the common terms in the automotive business.
Enjoy your savings!
