      ‘less is more’ and the door, I can’t ignore

      open energy that pour

      ripping off summer’s door

      to openly reveal

      all that autumn will conceal

      strength and energy

      harboured winter’s memory

      on a golden spool

      the sense that we are seasons’ tool

      to follow now the rule

      of autumn’s endless spool:

      we tidy away

      when the light has left our play

      and harbour a new course

      for springtime’s freshest force

      is in the nature of terrain

      to make of the exotic plain

      a simple golden rule

      to bed again in winter’s pool

      of stillness and despair

      when life is threadbare

      and free

      from all exuded memory

      winter, cause of your ascension

      the brand new growing of intention

      where we freely resurrect

      what we did not ‘in the least expect’

      A sobering of sorts

      with whom the sun cavorts!

      The squealing energy

      No longer fancy
