    The command to preach the Gospel in order to win souls and make disciples of them was given by the Lord Jesus Himself. In this book Soul Winning and the Making of Disciples, Dr. Z.T. Fomum reiterate that command with emphasis on the fact that every child of God is called upon to carry out this Great Commission and anyone who fails to obey is rebelling and courting God’s disfavour.

    Soul-winning goes hand in glove with the making of disciples because it is a chain process – those won to Him must be made into disciples and taught how to win others and make them into disciples.

    In this whole matter, the Spirit-filled life is a prerequisite, for Jesus asked the disciples to wait until they were clothed with power from on high. But the Spirit of God would not fall on the fearful, worldly, indulgent, lovers of ease, lovers of pleasure and compromisers. All such must repent and get right with God.

    We send this book out with prayer that the Lord would be pleased to use it to produce labourers in our generation to carry out the urgent task of soul winning and the making of disciples.
