Chapter 1

A New Day

She looked at the paper again. She couldn’t believe what she saw. He had finally done it. Her husband was asking for his divorce. Helen Hunt was a 44-year-old woman who had thought her life was on the right track. That was until she found her husband in bed with his new secretary. Helen had been his secretary when the company first started. They had started out small and with barely a pen between them. Through years of hard work and dedication they had finally made it. Her tears and sweat mingled with his in creating the great company. She had helped him to develop an empire in the advertising market. She couldn’t believe her luck. Her husband had found a woman who was 20 years younger than she was. The worst part about it was although she was 20 years younger, she looked just like Helen had 20 years ago. She had been devastated when her husband had told her he was leaving. That had been the end of her life. Or so she had thought. She was wounded deep and felt the pain of not only his betrayal but his rejection as well. The second was so much worse than the first and made the impact that would soon change her life. She looked at herself in the mirror again and sighed deeply. Where did she begin? Where did she go from here?

Helen had thought that if she worked hard and went to the gym and got the body back that she used to have that her husband would come back. She realized with sadness that body was two kids and twenty years ago. She thought about her life with her husband and how he had treated her the last few years. Now she didn’t know if she really wanted him back. All the times, the good times and the bad times were just the past. It was time for her to move on. She got a membership at the local gym and had to admit that she really enjoyed herself every day when she went.

She thought about what was in front of her. What she could do with her life. No longer would she look at what used to be but instead she would look at what could be. Today was the beginning of a new day. It was the start of her new life. Smiling she looked at herself in the mirror again and this time didn’t see the washed up old has been that her husband saw. She saw the face of a woman determined. Determined to show everyone around her including her soon-to-be ex-husband that she could do it, that she was worth it and that in the end they were the ones who would be jealous. She would show them all.

She walked through the large clear doors and into the gym. She loved her new gym. Not because of the equipment, the music they played or the friendly staff that they had. It was because when you walked through the doors you saw people of every age, every size, every color. It was like a mixture of people trying to get to that one goal. Where they wanted to be and what they wanted their body to look like. Not only did she want to have a better body but she wanted to feel better about herself. She wanted to feel better as a whole. Stepping up onto the treadmill she quickly pushed the buttons for her weight and then pressed the enter button. As it started to slowly roll she looked out at the other patrons of the gym. She didn’t feel stupid here. She didn’t feel like she didn’t belong here. She caught an image of someone over at the corner. Glancing over in that direction she saw something she had never seen before. Or rather someone. The man was bent over and she watched as his large muscular arms pulled up the dumbbell weights slowly one at a time. One side and then the other. Helen had loved her husband and she had been happy. But she hadn’t felt attraction like this in a long time. She felt her heart speed up a little and it wasn’t because of the treadmill that she was walking slowly on. His body glistened with sweat and as he leaned over further she could see the trickles of the moisture run down the side of his neck. Just then he looked up and his eyes met hers. The deep blue of his eyes penetrated into her and she suddenly felt a shortness of breath. He grinned over towards her which made her even more excited. She felt like she could drown in the depths of his dark blue eyes. They looked like the deepest part of the ocean. She quickly averted her gaze over to the television and stuck her earbuds in her ears as her favorite song pierced through her eardrums and she started to walk faster. She didn’t know it yet but she would soon be hunted. Hunted by three.

Chapter 2

The Competition of Three

Jim couldn’t believe what he just saw. It was as if he was pulled into it. Their next conquest. Jim was a medical student at Harvard University. When his eyes had met the woman’s across the gym, he had known instantly that she would be next. The next one on the list. The list with his roommates. Jim lived with his two best friends Luke and Steve. They were like the Three Musketeers and did almost everything together. Including the conquest of women. On their first year as freshmen they had decided to move out into a townhouse together. During that time they had found out that all three of them had the same likes and taste in women. They liked their women older, wiser and much more in tune with their bodies. That year they had made a pact or more like a competition really. They had decided they would pick one woman each semester. That woman they would hunt. Not hunt in the way that you would think. Not hunt in the way that a hunter hunts an animal or that a tiger does its next meal. But in a way that made the woman yearn for them. They wanted to turn the woman on and see who was the better man. Better man in the meaning who could pull out the most orgasms and the longest orgasms with the same woman. This semester Jim had just found the one they were going to nominate as their special victim.

Jim was excited to get home to let Luke and Steve know that he had found the woman of their dreams. Not only was she older she was also beautiful and refined
