Introduction
A lot of people often flood my social media and they ask how they can be down with SKE Records or how they can get more looks with their music. What most of these people fail to realize is that this is a business first. Growing up in the streets of Philadelphia, I am a true music head, but I am also a businessman.

When I was younger, I had a dream of being a record executive, but how could I not? Growing up as a black kid in the ‘90s means watching Puff Daddy do Bad Boy, Dame Dash and Jay Z do Roc-A-Fella, Birdman and Slim do Cash Money, Irv Gotti do Murder Inc., and Master P do No Limit. My generation was the first of its kind to see people rise from virtually nothing to success.

But, again, most people who are trying to get in this business seem to forget that this is an actual business. There are certain rules you must follow to find success in the music industry, it’s something that can’t be avoided. Work within these rules, find your own lane, stick with the ups and downs, and watch something good come from it.
