- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I am new to quilting and slow but if I could get things done faster, this is a book I would love to start at the beginning of and continue making everything in it. I don’t think there’s anything in here I’ve seen anywhere else. I love every one of them!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I'm sort of in the middle: I'm not a fan of super-traditional fabrics, but I also am not a huge fan of really sparse modern design. I was mislead by the word "Heritage"...
Most of the quilt patterns in this book fall squarely in the ultra-modern (i.e. boring) side. I just don't like the way they look. They're either really sparse or use weird-looking blocks...I still gave it 3 stars because the instructions are very clear and easy-to-understand...So, if you do like the aesthetic, you won't have any issues making these quilts.
However, this is not the book for me....
