About this ebook
Issac is an empath, a human that can sway other people’s emotions who doesn’t often have luck with women because he refuses to use his power for evil. After going on another failed date, he finds himself in his favorite spot in town; the library. There, he sees the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen, not just on the outside, but inside as well.
Following her, she leads him to a magic shop, where she confronts him. As they talk, they realize that they share much in common, and romance blooms. Together they decide the state’s mystery of the disappearing girls, revealing a more sinister foe than the police can possibly imagine.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed all of the stories so far. My only complaint is that they are way too short, and I would like to know what happens to the characters and what further adventures they could have.

The blonde woman across the small table looked at me as if I was insane. If I was honest, I couldn’t exactly blame her. Our blind date had been floundering from the very beginning, and my idiotic idea of a conversation topic was, So, how about those missing girls, huh? Are you worried you might be next?
That definitely didn’t help make it any better. I sighed in defeat and took a long swig of my beer, kind of hoping she would get up and leave.
She was pretty. Tall, nice legs in high heels under a short dress, and a knockout figure too. Her hair was dyed platinum blonde and her makeup looked so flawless it could have been airbrushed. Her name was Tiffany. Or was it Sharon? Shit. I couldn’t even remember her name. Not that it mattered. She had barely talked during our date, other than the ten minutes about her blossoming modeling career.
Look,
she finally said, breaking the awkward silence, I’m sure you’re a really nice guy, Issac. And you’re a good-looking one too, like Liam Hemsworth meets John Stamos. But the whole one blue eye thing, one eye green, it’s creeping me out. And now you’re talking about the missing girls? I think—yeah, I’m just going to go.
It’s called heterochromia,
I muttered, but she didn’t hear me. Already she was up out of her chair and walking to the front of the restaurant where the bar was. Unashamed, she walked up to the richest looking guy there and began talking to him. Like magic, he immediately moved to give her a seat and ordered her a drink. The waiter, upon seeing the entire scene, came
