Reviews for Imperial German Colonial and Overseas Troops 1885–1918

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Another good Osprey book which packs a decent amount into 48 pages. The illustrator's (Stephen Walsh) work looked familiar and turns out he also he also did the art for the Settlers of Catan games. Covers in brief detail the German forces in Togoland, Cameroon, German SW Africa, China and the Pacific Islands. Most of the book deals, as it should, with the forces of Lettow-Vorbeck in German East Africa which was by far the most important of the German colonies.
