"Anadi likes to read and know about geo-politics.Though an avid student of history, for sustenance he took shelter in present day economy when he found a job.And after becoming a people manager, he got ample opportunities to dwell in his interest every day - the people and the places - which has led to his debut novel - MUCH LEFT TO RIGHT."

Book of Wholeness: Introduction
Book of Wholeness is composed of three volumes that approach our spiritual evolution from complementary angles.
Map of Awakening is a practical, step-by-step elucidation of the process of self-actualization. It guides us like a loving friend with unbelievable precision and patience through the inner landscape of pure subjectivity, revealing the secrets of the inner metamorphosis through which we reach freedom and give birth to our soul.
Vision of Completion conceptually explores a vast number of subjects including the nature of the path, the many dimensions of self-realization, the complexity of the inner realm, the nature of the soul and the processes of human completion.
Finally, Realm of Complete Consciousness encapsulates Anadi’s revelatory insights into perhaps one of the most complex and fascinating aspects of our evolution - consciousness.
Book of Wholeness represents the most up-to-date exposition of the teaching of Anadi. Over the past few years, he has changed and refined many crucial concepts so that they can more perfectly reflect the correct vision of our evolution into soul-actualization. After Enlightenment Beyond Traditions and Book of Enlightenment, it represents the next milestone in the evolution of this teaching which never ceases to transcend its own limits, further and further illuminating the shrine of understanding in the great temple of the beloved.
A Student’s Perspective
A spiritual teaching is often defined as a type of interpretation or philosophy of the path. But after having followed Anadi’s teaching closely for over 10 years, I have come to see it not as an interpretation but a clear reflection of the spiritual realm. It is nothing but a very accurate map of the inner world – that is all. It is the fundamental and undisputable truth of spirituality in the same way that the multiplication chart is the foundation of mathematics or the table of elements is the basis of chemistry. And yet it is the most elevated, refined revelation of spiritual evolution that there is.
Anadi is a rare and true teacher who profoundly sees the unique abilities and limitations of his student as well as the laws and deepest goals of the spiritual path. Through his teaching, he gives a seeker complete and holistic support and guidance. First, he endows him with total clarity of vision by presenting an incredibly precise conceptual map of the inner world, many areas of which have never before been touched upon or described. Secondly, he employs these concepts in a way which is entirely practical; they form part of a set of very tangible tools with which a meditator can convert spiritual knowledge into his own living experience. Lastly, he empowers him through his own direct presence, which is like a loving force working its magic from within us, a friendly hand which reaches into our being and opens the locked doors of our spiritual existence. With immense wisdom, Anadi allows the precious meeting of the seeker and the path to take place.
Within the context of this genuine support, a student of Anadi must grow and mature into true adulthood, meaning he must become increasingly independent and take full responsibility for the actualization of his spiritual potential. He has to walk the path, complete the path, and understand the path by the virtue of his own passion, strength, and sincerity. He has no other choice than to move from being a seeker into being a true finder – one who encounters and discovers the inner world through his very own being and becomes intimate with his unique existence.
And yet Anadi himself is so modest and unpretentious. It has been a tremendous relief to discover that the enigmatic concept of enlightenment can exist in the form of a simple human being living a simple human life. There is an inspiring ordinariness and honesty in how Anadi speaks about the most profound subjects, describing them with amazing exactitude and clarity while remaining entirely equanimous and devoid of self-importance. When the discourse is over, he moves seamlessly into the mundane, attending to a new activity in the same clear, intense, and total manner. This perfect integration between being a spiritual pioneer and just another human being, with the complete humility that it implies, is a precious example to both behold and follow. For me, seeing this natural personification of ‘enlightenment’ was the greatest news I could have asked for.
Anadi’s teaching and presence is a priceless gift for any sincere person who feels lost in his search for answers, answers to questions that he may not even have formulated. I have received this gift, and in the face of that, I remain humbled and speechless. With all my heart, I wish it upon each and every soul who truly longs for it.

MAP OF AWAKENING
Crucial Role of the Inner Map
Most seekers on the path do not know that there is actually a map of human evolution, a map which represents its many steps and true complexity. Instead, they abide upon the naïve belief that reaching enlightenment is a singular event that will magically transform their whole existence. If that were the case, why would a map be necessary? Common spirituality on this plane is dominated by simplistic and one-dimensional ideas about the nature of awakening. Seekers either sit at the feet of a guru hoping to receive the grace of enlightenment or perform various futile practices that can take them no closer to their real self. Their passivity to really seek truth is justified through concepts such as surrender, humility and trust, but the reality is that by their dishonesty and lack of sincerity they are resisting the fulfilment of their purpose; they serve their ego, not their soul.
Nowadays, the science of enlightenment is mostly represented by various versions of non-duality, mainly Buddhism and Advaita. While originally these great traditions had a lot to offer, they have become considerably outdated, meaning they are unable to reflect a higher vision of evolution into the state of wholeness. Ironically, the main thing that they fail to identify is the very essence of the path, which is our soul; after all, that is the inevitable conclusion and shortcoming of a non-dual path. But even aside from this, their map of awakening is either non-existent or lacks the necessary level of depth and detail. Its description of the subtle realms of internal unfoldment is simplistic and primitive. We can find scatterings of maps that depict various models of awakening or stages of absorption, but they all remain highly incomplete.
Take for example the model of the ten ox-herding pictures in Zen Buddhism. This is an extraordinarily beautiful and elaborate map portraying the circle from an initial awakening to its completion. However, the whole process that is described is confined to the awakening of consciousness alone – there is no representation of the source, or of the heart and so on. So what these pictures show is the true beginning of awakening, the first step as it were, and not the whole journey. Furthermore, even on the level of consciousness this model lacks many important elements, such as a description of the process of surrender to consciousness, of embodying consciousness, of the integration and unification of conscious me with pure consciousness, and of the very birth of the soul.
The main deficiency of non-dual traditions is the total absence of understanding pertaining to the nature of me and the intricate relationship between human consciousness and I am. Without grasping the essence of me, there is no way that one can come even close to understanding the intimate nature of the spiritual path. One of the very few exceptions to this was the teaching of Lin Chi, who described the realization of our higher individuality as becoming ‘a true man of no rank.’ He also defined the so-called ‘four positions’ of correlation between me and I am, which in his language were termed ‘guest’ and ‘host.’ The four positions were: guest looking at host, host looking at guest, guest looking at guest and host looking at host. These four stages can be translated as: awakening to I am, shift of identity to I am, awakening of me and samadhi in I am. However, while the teaching of Lin Chi acknowledged the ‘guest’ as being intrinsic to the awakening process, the hidden and complex nature of me was still not understood at all.
There is still a shocking degree of ignorance as to who or what our very me is, especially considering how many thinkers and masters have contemplated the matter of consciousness over the centuries. This points to the low level of spiritual intelligence of humanity as a whole. When it was first revealed, the philosophy of non-duality opened human beings to a higher level of evolution and understanding. But because it stopped evolving as a teaching long ago, it has now become another deep form of conditioning; it is no longer a revelation of truth. When only half of the truth is revealed and then mistaken for something absolute, it at some point becomes yet another lie.
We live in times when an understanding of the true nature of human evolution is a matter of great urgency, and an accurate map which reflects the multidimensional actualization of that evolution is a requisite element of this understanding. Everybody is lost, and it is just not right. As human beings we must take responsibility for awakening to a higher understanding of the reality of our path and destiny, so that we can finally realize who we are and who we are becoming through the process of self-actualization. This goes far beyond a simplistic identification with the impersonal, universal existence, whether it is called self or no-self, consciousness or emptiness.
The map that we offer in this book is a complete but simplified description of our journey into the actualization of our soul and reaching unity with the universal reality. It also describes the process of the evolution of me and its alignment with the higher identity of the soul. The map approaches our evolution from several angles which emphasize different dimensions of awakening. All of these elements are fully interconnected, and only in unison can they manifest the state of wholeness. It should be clear that we are not offering a philosophy or intellectual representation of the path. Each concept that we use is a pure reflection of what is and what will be when it is actualized. Anyone who follows this path to its very depth will see this clearly.
Though the map may appear to be linear, step-by-step, it in fact represents the natural, organic and coherent flow of evolution. There is flexibility in following this model and the potential of each seeker needs to be taken into consideration. All elements of the path, though interconnected, are somewhat sequential and the laws of gradual evolution must be respected, because if one goes ahead of oneself, one will fall back and become stagnated. Trying, for instance, to reach the absolute state before the awakening of consciousness will only serve to make one even more unconscious and lost. On the other hand, having a connection to the heart at the beginning of the path may in some cases be very supportive in creating the correct relationship with consciousness, as it can link it more deeply with the soul. These are just examples of the fact that this map needs to be approached with flexibility and imagination.
Above all, one needs a qualified spiritual guide to verify each state of awakening and to be directed into one’s further evolution. Most of these states must be initiated and transmitted by a real guide who can open the door to a higher level of reality and existence for the seeker; many of these dimensions of internal expansion need a key to be unlocked, which is the entry of grace. However, even though there are limitations to what we can ourselves do, our intelligent and sincere cooperation is a direct expression of our responsibility and conscious relationship with our higher self and the unfoldment of our spiritual potential. It is by fully employing all of our resources, making all the necessary efforts on the level of practice, and striving to awaken our inner intelligence that we can finally become a pure channel through which the love and grace of a higher power can enter our existence.

Consciousness
1. Awakening of Consciousness
It is the radiance of consciousness which illuminates our existence with self-knowing, and forms the base of our identity. However, in the dimension of forgetfulness, no one is truly conscious. Humans live in the shadows, the gray, depressing fog of the subconscious reality, the pretense of being conscious. And while ‘consciousness’ is a central concept in many traditions of enlightenment, it remains an almost entirely unknown land. We need to confront this universal truth: that so far, there is not a single human path or tradition that brings even the most rudimentary level of clarity into the awakening of consciousness. Hence, we are unraveling this complex reality more or less from zero, step-by-step introducing and clarifying all of its components.
The spiritual path does not end with the awakening of consciousness, but it cannot truly begin without it. To embody the pure nature of consciousness is to enter the realm of pure subjectivity, which is the very domain in which we evolve spiritually. Without first establishing the base of consciousness, we cannot awaken all the other aspects of the soul. In turn, these other aspects form the essential foundation upon which consciousness can finally become complete.
Two Pillars of Consciousness: Pure Me and Essential Me
The evolution of consciousness goes through many crucial stages, all of which need to be fully comprehended and experientially realized through correct, intelligent practice. In addition, we must have the correct vision of the multidimensional nature of complete consciousness. Overall, we can divide complete consciousness into two pillars, two dimensions into which it fundamentally evolves – pure me and essential me. While each of these pillars is entirely distinct, they are also fully interdependent and need to evolve in parallel. After the two pillars of consciousness are realized, they serve as two portals to the absolute reality, as the two channels of the vertical surrender of consciousness.
The highest goal of our evolution into consciousness is to arrive at complete consciousness, which is the perfect, dynamic and holistic unity of its multiple dimensions and components. Firstly, we must awaken our pure nature in consciousness (fundamental consciousness), then unify it with the relative expressions of our human consciousness (integral consciousness), and then finally reach vertical samadhi in the source from both centers of fundamental consciousness.
The Pillar of Pure Me
Pure me is the heart of pure consciousness, the self-illuminating radiance of its translucency, and the very subject to unity with universal consciousness. The realization of pure consciousness, which is the unity of pure me of consciousness and I am, is the true beginning of our evolution into embodying the light of our true nature. Contrary to superficial views, the awakening of pure consciousness is not the final goal of the path but rather our first entry into the realm of pure subjectivity. Without having the base of pure consciousness, a human being cannot move beyond the prison of his mind – he has no presence, no continuity of self, and no existence based on reality.
The complete awakening of pure consciousness is not a single event; it is both sudden and gradual in nature. While the initial awakening into pure consciousness is indeed sudden, its maturation, both energetically and existentially, is a gradual process, at the heart of which is the growing relationship between me and I am.
Opening the Gate to Universal Consciousness
Universal consciousness is accessed through a portal which is located at the back of our head. The initial opening of this portal is most often a function of transmission from a spiritual guide, but in rare cases can happen spontaneously if the soul has already awakened that state in a previous lifetime. This opening to I am creates a connective space between me and universal consciousness. However, it is almost always a partial and incomplete shift which needs to be deepened through the surrender of me and its further unification with I am. Me is the essence of our personal consciousness and subjective existence, that which exists initially in separation from I am and whose journey it is to surrender to and embody it as its deeper identity. As long as me has not surrendered, the excessive duality between me and I am prevents us from realizing what we call 'pure consciousness', which is the consciousness of the soul, our higher subjectivity. This should be clear: the opening to I am is not yet pure consciousness, but rather a link to the beyond, through which our innermost identity can give birth to itself.
Self-Remembrance and Surrender
For the initial awakening of consciousness to become complete, it must be established as a permanent state through the merging of me with I am. The first step in this process is to stabilize the state energetically. The energetic stabilization of consciousness is a gradual process which is accomplished through the practice of self-remembrance. Through this practice, one has to strive to eliminate any gaps in the recognition of one's pure nature until the state is constant and uninterrupted. Even for someone who is absolutely dedicated and spiritually mature, a long journey is required for the state to become energetically perfect, fully established, truly embodied, and integrated.
Because of its unique nature, consciousness must be awakened and cultivated primarily in activity with eyes open. This is due to the fact that in order to reach absorption in universal consciousness, one must cultivate horizontal surrender through the portal at the back of the head. Horizontal surrender is to turn the flow of consciousness backwards on itself, and this must happen in direct contrast to our external, visual consciousness. It is this polarity between our perception of the outer world and the surrender backwards, towards the innermost dimension of I am, that allows us to establish the horizontal depth of consciousness and to isolate its pure nature from all of the relative dimensions of me.
Human beings experience their sense of me mainly in the front of the head, and often in a very intense and unpleasant way due to the overdevelopment of the observer. One of the roles of horizontal surrender with open eyes is to counteract the pull from the front of the head so that we can open up a new energetic depth, within which our deeper me can manifest. This is why practice with closed eyes alone cannot yield the awakening of consciousness. Unless pure consciousness is fully separated from the mental construct of self, the moment we close our eyes, our energy will habitually gravitate to the front, due to the pull of the observer. Therefore, there is always a danger that without first isolating pure consciousness with open eyes, the practice with closed eyes will lead us to develop excessive concentration in the front of the head, and in doing so, solidify the wrong center of me.
It must be clear that we cannot cultivate horizontal surrender with eyes closed because the portal to universal consciousness at the back of the head becomes closed upon the closing of the eyes; it is only activated as the polarity to our visual perception. Sitting meditation is an important element of the practice with pure consciousness, but is done more for the sake of energetic maturation and subtle integration than for the sake of awakening itself. On the level of consciousness, sitting meditation is necessary to awaken and stabilize conscious me, and later on, to serve us in the further vertical deepening and surrender of consciousness into the source. Therefore, the cultivation of pure consciousness must be a balance between the practice of self-remembrance in activity and its energetic maturation in sitting meditation.
Only once our relationship with pure consciousness is properly established with open eyes can it then be maintained and deepened when we sit in meditation with eyes closed. It is worth mentioning that although sitting in meditation with open eyes open can yield some benefits, it is quite unnatural and easily leads to altered or hypnotic states of consciousness. This is because while our visual and perceptual faculties remain active, we are not engaging with them properly, leading to confusion and the suspension of our natural processes in the brain.
To cultivate self-remembrance and surrender is not merely a practice – it is a love affair with our inner self. If we do not bring the quality of devotion to our practice, it becomes mechanical and empty of true significance. If there is no love in our surrender, it will never yield the awakening of the soul; our soul is realized through the love and devotion of me. To truly awaken consciousness is to actualize it as a state of love and deep intimacy with the light of I am. Consciousness that does not have love infused in itself is not the true consciousness of our soul.
Awakening of Pure Attention
One of the most common errors in the practice of self-remembrance is to engage the observer as the 'doer', as the one who is trying to recognize and surrender to consciousness. Although the observer does have a role to play in this process, which is primarily to occasionally check the state, it must be clear that it is not the observer who is supposed to practice self-remembrance. Self-remembrance is a function of conscious me, and more precisely, its dynamic aspect, which is attention. Although remembrance and surrender flow from conscious me, the nature of conscious me is such that it cannot leave its natural location in the front of the head. Therefore, in order to create a bridge with I am, it creates an extension, an internalized form of attention which we call 'pure attention'.
Pure attention is directed towards the recognition of our original subjectivity through the energy of surrender. Moreover, it is directly connected to our internal intelligence, which is what we call 'pure intelligence' – the intuitive, feeling dimension of intelligence. Pure intelligence is an inherent emanation of pure attention that reaches its highest capacity upon the awakening of the pure observer.
Pure attention is the one who is performing self-remembrance through merging with I am and thereby creating continuity of recognition. Pure attention is not becoming aware of I am as a reality external to itself but rather through its surrender to and identification with it; its recognition of I am is instantaneous and immediate. In this process, the initial dichotomy between attention and I am gradually shrinks, and attention reaches permanent absorption in universal consciousness.
Getting in touch with pure attention and pure intelligence is intrinsic to the awakening of our soul; if we are practicing from the wrong center, we can never embody our higher nature. In order to meet the sense of self that is linked to pure attention in our existence, we must be truly conscious, mature, sensitive, and intimate with the essence of our pure subjectivity from the very beginning of our inner path.
Awakening of Pure Me
The direct result of correct self-remembrance and surrender is the merging of me with I am. This merging happens through the actualization of the deepest dimension of me – pure me. The actualization of pure me is the flowering of pure attention; pure me is born as our new identity in the place of meeting between pure attention and I am.
Pure me is the true consciousness of the soul and the heart of any awakened state. It is awakened when pure attention finds a true anchor in I am through reaching a sufficient depth of surrender to it. In the event of the awakening of pure me, a portion of pure attention is being unified with I am, and is thereby transformed into our deeper identity through establishing the state of bare attention. Bare attention is the direct self-cognition of pure subjectivity, the very essence of the awakened me; it is through bare attention that we meet ourselves directly. Once bare attention is established, the dynamic aspect of pure attention is still retained. However, it now flows directly from pure me into I am and comes to constitute the alive consciousness of pure me, its living relationship with universal subjectivity.
Awareness – Pure Me of Presence
When pure attention expands towards the depth of the headspace but does not cross the threshold of I am at the back of the head, this gives rise to the state of awareness. When awareness is not only energetically awakened but embodied and linked to the pure subjectivity of soul, it is in fact the realization of pure me of consciousness within the dimension of presence; it is the pure me of presence. We could also call this realization ‘conscious awareness,’ a condition that, though limited, serves as a true base for our further evolution into the soul. Pure me of presence, or conscious awareness, is realized through the embodiment of pure attention as the bare attention of pure me. While pure me can be clearly experienced prior to reaching absorption in I am, in order to be fully realized, it has to reach absence, samadhi in the universal reality. This applies to both pure me of consciousness and fundamental me, as well as the other centers of pure me.
Awareness is a condition in between conscious me and pure consciousness. If one shifts into the state of awareness, one must identify the limitations of this realization and continue to surrender horizontally into I am in order to fully awaken pure me and reach horizontal samadhi in universal consciousness. It is important to note that it is not a necessity to pass through the stage of awareness in order to awaken pure consciousness; when a seeker is properly guided, he can directly shift into pure consciousness. So in most cases, the awakening of awareness is more of an impediment to our real purpose, which is to merge with universal consciousness.
Pure Consciousness – Horizontal Samadhi
The initial awakening of consciousness must happen in the horizontal plane, meaning that consciousness needs to be internalized and turned back by means of its surrender through the portal at the back of the head. As we have said, that which is surrendering is pure attention. When pure attention anchors itself in I am, it establishes and embodies the identity of pure me. However, once pure me is embodied, the movement of surrender continues as pure attention is falling back through pure me into I am, in order to reach unity with I am and establish its final, energetic depth. The final depth of consciousness is the state of absence, which is samadhi in universal consciousness. That meeting between presence and absence is felt a few inches behind the physical head. Reaching horizontal samadhi allows pure me to be completely isolated from our relative consciousness so that our pure nature can become fully established. Only when pure consciousness is entirely separated from our relative consciousness can we begin the process of integrating and unifying its relative expression. If we attempt to integrate our relative me and the mind before isolating pure me, that relative me will mix in with it too much, thereby preventing its complete awakening.
Awakening Universal Me of Consciousness
Pure consciousness is the unity of pure me and I am, the horizontal samadhi of pure me in universal consciousness. Beyond horizontal samadhi, our evolution deepens into the embodiment of I am itself. Here,
