Workaholic's Rehab: Stop Overworking Yourself To Death!
()
About this ebook
Admittedly the most common problem in todays workforce is too many are too lazy to move their butts and work! In some respects being workaholic is an admirable trait. But as with anything in life, even the good becomes a negative when uncontrolled. Although it's a admirable to take responsibility and work real hard to provide well for the family? We still need to take it in moderation. Too much and it will minimize the quality of life, relationships and health -- because every waking moment is just spent working!
It is the goal of this book to help balance your work life and ensure you don't go overboard. It's understandable and commendable to take care of business but as long as you are not in absolute control -- as much as drug addicts are not really in control of their addictions to their vices, cigarettes, drugs, alcohol or spending every waking moment at work? It is a problem! Overlooked, underestimated, but a problem nonetheless.

Introduction
When was your last getaway? One year? A decade?
Aside from the money you earn from your hard work, exactly what did you get? No matter how old you are, who you are and where you are, you are workaholic
if you are working more than 12 hours a day. Workaholic families will tend to neglect their kids because they are hardly ever able to squeeze some free time for them. All they have after getting back from work are negative moods and body discomforts; they do not even have energy to talk to their children, and shower them with attention and love!
When you plunge yourself in your meetings, assignments and jobs, you are not aware of how quickly time flies. You forget to rest and you miss your meals!
Do you awaken in the middle of the night in discomfort? Do you throw up food or blood? If these are occurring to you, then congratulations! You may be struggling with stomach ulcers. This might take place from abnormal diet routines such as eating too quickly, junk food habits, skipping meals etc, resulting from overworking!
High workloads could lead to depression, anxiety, stress and anger more than your non-workaholic associates.
Heart problems, strokes are the implications from high blood pressure, from too much work stress. Anxiety and stress will make your body more vulnerable to other health problems too.
It may be time for you to go on a vacation if you have been pressing yourself too hard in your job recently.
