    Introduction

    The Paleolithic diet is a way of eating from 10,000 years ago in the Paleolithic era. Also known as the caveman diet, the Paleo diet consists of foods that were eaten before the agricultural revolution and wheat based diet. The foods that were eaten included meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables and nuts. All foods in their natural form, not processed and wheat free are included. Studies are showing that human bodies are better adapted to this way of eating.

    Foods in their natural form contain a great deal of vitamins and minerals. By including these in daily eating, many health benefits have resulted.
