About this series
The third book of SCM QUIZ WIZ series – GANDHI THROUGH THE EYES OF CHILDREN – is dedicated to children and young people of our time. Who does not know Gandhi, the Mahatma? Which country is in the world where the name of Gandhi is not present in any form? And which one of the modern leaders striving for humanitarian values and world peace can conscientiously deny the impact of Gandhi on his vision and mission? But knowing Gandhi just by his name and as an immortal personality is not enough. Gandhi needs to be explored even more in this era of moral chaos and of the threatening signs to peace and universal brotherhood. This book will not only serve as a barometer to test the reader’s basic knowledge about Mahatma Gandhi but also urge him or her to read more about him and truly fathom the depth of these prophetic words of Albert Einstein: “A leader of his people, unsupported by outward authority; a politician whose success rests not upon craft nor mastery of technical devices, but simply on the convincing power of his personality; a victorious fighter who has always scorned the use of force; a man of wisdom and humility, armed with resolve and inflexible consistency, who has devoted all his strength to the uplifting of his people and the betterment of their lot; a man who has confronted the brutality of Europe with the dignity of the simple human being, and thus at all times risen superior. Generations to come, it may be, will scarce believe that such one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth.”

- Children and the World
1
CHILDREN AND THE WORLD - the first book of SCM QUIZ WIZ Series - aims at creating an interest in children for exploring the immense world of knowledge in its wide spectrum. While the current book focuses on giving the children an opportunity to test their own knowledge-level in 5 major areas - Religions, Literature, Sports, Cinema, and Innovations - further books to be published under this series will take them to more focused areas in World History, Science, Mythology, Inventions, Countries of the World, and other vistas of knowledge. The quizzes are of international standard keeping in view the global readers of tender ages. The best part is: it has a HINT SECTION in the end, so one can 'try' and use his or her brains to guess the right answer and, then, it has an ANSWER SECTION where the final answers are provided. The book can be used both by parents and teachers as an aid to arouse in their children a sense of curiosity for knowledge and, also, as a self-scorer by children themselves.

- The Hidden Words for Children: Part 1
3
In “The Advent of Divine Justice”, a book written as back as in 1938, Shoghi Effendi – a great scholar and Guardian of the Bahá’í Faith – expressed his concerns about a “world dimmed by the steadily dying-out light of religion, heaving with the explosive forces of a blind and triumphant nationalism; scorched with the fires of pitiless persecution, whether racial or religious; deluded by the false theories and doctrines that threaten to supplant the worship of God and the sanctification of His laws; enervated by a rampant and brutal materialism; disintegrating through the corrosive influence of moral and spiritual decadence ....”. Even today, after an elapse of many eventful decades, there is hardly any change in this gloomy scenario. Generation after generation is passing through an age which is marked by its great scientific advancement, technical and intellectual empowerment, and yet the world is afflicted with many, many great problems of our time the root of which is to be found in nothing but our moral and spiritual depreciation. Unfortunately, children are the worst sufferers of this anarchy and yet, as a matter of hope, the most easily rectifiable citizens of this ungodly world. This book, explaining the divine concepts for living treasured in “The Hidden Words” of Baha’u’llah – the Messenger of God for this age – guides children and junior youths how best to attain the true delight and perfection in their individual lives by following the basic divine principles.
- The Great Bible Quiz
4
The SECOND book of SCM QUIZ WIZ series – THE GREAT BIBLE QUIZ (Part 1) -- is an ideal Quiz book for all. The Bible, together with the Quran (Koran) and other great scriptures of the world, is among the most widely read Books of the world. This Quiz book will not only serve as a barometer to test the reader’s knowledge about the Bible but also urge him or her to read this great scripture more and more and marvel at the treasure of knowledge and mysteries it enshrines. The intelligently selected quizzes – assorted in 6 Sections and mostly based on stories than on details – are great for children and youth who are less familiar with the contents of the Holy Book, but they are equally interesting for grown-up readers who would like to refresh their knowledge of the Bible. There is a Score-Board in the end of each section. Ideal for self-study or Quiz Contests at schools or Churches!
