The legend of The Bogeyman
()
About this ebook
A short story about the Bogeyman. You can call him the Boogeyman or Boogieman if you want. This is the real one. But nothing like you thought he was. He's more sinister, more insidious and just downright sneaky. But here's the thing, ole Bogey isn't just some ordinary or carnival monster anxious to put a scare into you. He has higher aspirations. Like taking your hand and slapping God's face with it. Now, that's blasphemy. The thing is, blasphemy is what ole Bogey is mostly about. That and an eternal hatred that saturates his whole being. He doesn't mind scaring the unholy bejeebers out of you, but he'd rather kill God.

Chapter One - The Morning Star
YOU SET THE SEAL ON PERFECTION; FULL OF WISDOM YOU WERE AND ALTOGETHER BEAUTIFUL. ezekiel 28:12
The All-Father entered the crowded chamber. He towered above all that were present there yet cast no shadow upon the crystal floor. Indeed, how could He? He seemed to be composed of pure light. A light that shimmered and changed its hue at every movement He made.
A magnificent chorus of winged beings burst forth in song. Their music welcomed and praised all at once. They were orchestrated by Lucifer, the Morning Son, the Light Bearer whose height and beauty was superseded only by that of the Father and Michael, referred to at times as the Word. The Light Bearer took in the immense host scene; the two Authorities were accompanied by an undulating luminous mass that seemed to be everywhere at once. This was the Formless One known as the Spirit. Turning his attention back to their choir, Lucifer brought the orchestra's vocalizations to a softer, almost a whispered awe.
Crossing the threshold, the Authorities seated Themselves upon thrones of sapphire. Save for the Spirit, which filled the chamber like a softly glowing mist. Immediately, the great host increased its harmonizing and swelling musicale with Lucifer lividly directing them.
A flickering and topazine light leaped from the base of the thrones, seemingly dancing to the music. It extended itself as high as the knees of the immense figures occupying the seats. Then, one by one and all around the ethereal Father and Word, every spectrum of the rainbow appeared and made itself vivid. When the frame of colors completed itself, the concert's final strands faded, and all was silent.
Time appeared to stand still for an eon as the immense throng waited on the quartz floor. All eyes riveted upon the glowing Monarch and Word. Finally, the pulsating shape of the Father gestured, and the Word spoke. The voice thundered with a deep timbre. It cascaded throughout the chamber, vibrating and echoing far off into the distance then back into the great room. Its power stirred the substances of stars and worlds. It provoked flares in the suns' nuclear fires and made eddies in the dust, winds, and planets' waters. Nebulae convulsed, hastening the formation of new stars. Galaxies formed and were set in orbits and rotations. Some rotated clockwise, some counterclockwise. All creation reacted at the utterance of that voice.
Son of the Morning, will you read My percepts that all may hear and know them?
At this, Lucifer strode majestically across the spacious floor, which appearance was as a glassy sea.
Ah, my Sovereign Lord and my God, I will.
Reverently, Lucifer accepted the azure stone lets from the
