What’s it about?
Most of us have been taught from a very early age that we need to plan for our future—a future that will see us financially comfortable (if not wealthy) and secure. The goal, though, is not simply to make a lot of money but to find work that will make us happy, too. In fact, most of us would say that our greatest aspiration would be to make a good living doing work we love.
Some people have the gumption to take life by the horns and pursue their goals. Others have a more difficult time achieving their dreams and end up working what they consider to be dead-end jobs. They aren’t sure they have the knowledge or ability to look for a new job or start their own business. Even those that do have the courage to become their own boss or go after a promotion find that success doesn’t come nearly as easily as they were hoping it would.
