La pronuncia inglese
Uno degli ostacoli maggiori per un italiano nell'approcciare la lingua Inglese è dover pronunciare suoni spesso distanti - se non addirittura assenti - nella fonetica della nostra lingua.
Tanto per intenderci, lo schwa [ə], uno dei fonemi più frequenti in Inglese, non esiste nel nostro alfabeto fonetico e non è sicuramente annoverabile tra i suoni più agevoli da riprodurre per un italiano. Non si tratta di imbarazzo a pronunciare foni che sentiamo strani
perché lontani dalla nostra lingua, quanto proprio di mancanza di abitudine, esercizio, predisposizione ad articolare quello specifico suono e a posizionare in maniera naturale la lingua, le labbra e la mandibola per riprodurlo.
Purtroppo non ci sono regole ferree per imparare la pronuncia dell'Inglese: l'unica soluzione sarebbe ascoltare ogni singola parola pronunciata da un madrelingua e impararne l'esecuzione fonica a memoria. Se da un lato non c'è niente di meglio dello stare in un environment tipicamente anglofono, attingendo dai nativi tutte le informazioni e sfumature possibili, dall'altro è pur vero che non tutti possono permettersi di vivere a
