    Feng Shui practitioners believe that the earth is breathing out a certain energy called Chi, which gives life to all beings and affects the destiny of people. To be able to have good luck and well-being, you must learn how to position yourself, your room and your house in the proper direction.

    You must also know how to let the positive Chi flow and linger into your home and work place. By doing this, you can make sure that you can have all the positivity that the world can possibly bring. Feng Shui also focuses in the balancing of yin and yang or the opposite forces on earth. Doing this can help maintain harmony, peace and wellness.

    Feng Shui techniques can also help you to correct the improper placement of an object in your area which negatively affects your fate. If something in your house, room or office is blocking the flow of chi, the flow of positive vibes can also be lessened or stopped. Aside from the teaching the proper placement of furnitures, Feng Shui also offers various remedies and ornaments to correct problematic home and office interior designs.

    Basic Feng Shui remedies can include the use of directions, colors, shapes, elements, numbers and others. Some Feng shui practitioners also use crystals, amulets and coins. Some people consult a Feng Shui expert before buying a house, starting a business and even getting married. Birth dates and birth elements also affect how a relationship between two people would be. The Chinese marry those who are born on a more favorable Chinese zodiac and element.

    The name of a person or a couple can also be taken into consideration before planning to get married. The practice of Feng Shui traditions are at peak during the time before Chinese New Year. The Chinese Lunar Calendar is also a tool that can be used to greatly improve your fate for the whole year.
