    Introduction

    What Is the Lean Diet?

The lean diet is a diet plan that exists to help you learn how to eat healthier.  It is not a strict diet that is too hard to follow, nor is it a diet that is filled with processed junk foods.  Eating lean foods helps the body to get on a program of building strong immune system, which helps to keep all the systems in the body healthy, including weight level.

The recipes within this book are meant to be part of the maintenance of a good diet plan.  Before you start on this diet, you should bust your bad eating habits first.  By stopping bad habits, you are able to stick with the diet and make it a lifestyle change rather than a quickie diet that will only work while you are on it.

The answer is simple; do not look at dieting as a temporary fix.  Look at it as a complete lifestyle change.  Like breaking any other bad habit such as smoking or drinking alcohol, you must give your body time to wean from the junk foods first.  You can go cold turkey, jump in with the diet, and have success.  But if you do that the chances of you back sliding from the diet are much greater than if you take the
