My obsession with Stir Fry all started when I invited a Chinese friend and co-worker to dinner some years back. It was love at first bite for the whole family when we had a taste of the vegetables and seafood mix that she brought for the occasion. Even my two boys, who were usually picky eaters, especially when it comes to vegetables, ate every morsel that I scooped for them on their plates and even requested for a second serving with much gusto.
You can bet your bottom dollar that I asked her to teach me how to make the scrumptious meal.
My friend taught me the basics of the recipe. She even took the extra mile and gifted me with my own seasoned carbon-steel wok and metal chan. You can just imagine my squeal of delight.
As I learned all about the fundamentals of stir fry, I also discovered that the coolest thing about the recipe is that it is one of the most flexible dishes that I can make. I can toss pretty much just about any meat, fish, seafood, and vegetable in the pan. The various sauce recipes that I can make for a mix are a real treat, too. Sweet and sour one day, fruity on the next day, and the good secret classic sauce on some days. When I want an extra kick, then I can just mix up ingredients for a spicy, mouth-watering meal topped on rice or mixed on noodles.
What I love most about stir fry is the fact that it is very easy to make and prepare. I can make a dish any time, especially on busy weekdays when the whole family is busy with work and school. A gift from heaven for a busy-bee mother and wife like me.
When I have no time to make tedious meals at all, I can always count on stir fry for a healthy, delicious, balanced and scrumptious meal for less the effort and less the time.

STIR FRIED RECIPES ON NOODLES
Preparing a stir fry dish might be simple and easy. But here are some basic tips you need to know to get you started with that perfectly stir fried meal.
Cooking and mixing utensils.
It’s best to always use a pan that can give all the ingredients room to have contact with the heated surface, such as a well-seasoned cast iron skillet or a carbon-steel wok, since thy hold heat evenly. If you don’t have a wok or a cast iron, then no need to panic. You can use any pan that can cover the important points above; making sure it has a non-stick surface where you can mix all the ingredients around.
Using a metal chan or an Asian wok stirrer is great because you can easily gently push, toss, and remove food in your pan or wok. If you don’t have a metal chan then a wooden spatula will do. The secret is to stir fry and keep the ingredients moving around the pan or wok.
