I absolutely loved this book and thought it was the cutest book ever. The pictures are silly and cute. The author sure makes it fun to read this book. It is kid friendly and talks about our furry pals in the point of view of the dog.

This is a book about the history of the human/canine relationship, told with a dog as the narrator. It is filled with many facts about dogs, and uses humor to convey the differences between dogs and humans, as well as between such things as the unique smell that each dog's urine has.

It was a cool book. I liked how it showed things people may not know about dogs. I liked this book, because it gives two point of views, the dog's point of view and the human's point of view. It shows how to understand a dogs body gestures to help a human understand. It provides facts about dogs.

A few sloppy errors. There are better books on this subject.

Review: "It's a Dog's Life" is a humorous book written from the perspective of a dog, explaining to the reader why they do the things that they do. It is known that dog's see the world through a very different lens than humans do, and this book takes humans into their world and exposes some of their best kept secrets. Genre: InformationalGenre Critique: This book is an example of an informational text because it gives the reader an inside look into the tendencies that dog's have that we may not understand or be aware of.

Review: This book is all about dogs. It talks about lots of different breeds of dogs and what each of those breeds is bred to do. It talks about how their are dogs that hunt down criminals and there are dogs to guide the blind. It also gives details about dogs different senses of hearing, seeing, smell, dog barking, and dogs taste. Genre: InformationalGenre Critique: This book is filled with facts about dogs and it is put in a child's perspective and point of view. It does not go too in depth and I feel like it just scratches the surface about dogs. There are not a lot of vocabulary words throughout the book. At the end of the book there is three pages that are just strictly facts about dogs. I would have liked to have seen those facts more throughout the book itself.
