DETAILS OF BELT ASSEMBLY
Fig. 139. Details of Belt Assembly
Belt 1, Fig. 137, is easily made by utilizing scrap materials and it can produce a novelty effect if a variety of leather, as well as colors, is used in the many links. This type of belt is popular with girls and women.
Belts 2, 3, and 4, Fig. 137, involve braiding in either five- or eight-strand design. The second project describes and illustrates extensively the various processes required for making these belts. Belt 2 will prove popular with girls if the leather is in such colors as red and blue.
Belts 5 and 6 have stamped and embossed designs, made with the stamps and embossing wheels available.
