About this ebook

New York Times bestseller! Get ready for another binge-worthy romance from international bestselling author Elle Kennedy!

He's a player in more ways than one…

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he'll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he's worth a second chance.

Now he's going to need to up his game…

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She's not a charity case, and she's not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He'll have to work for it. This time around, she'll be the one in the driver's seat…and she plans on driving him wild.

Absolutely loved everything about this. It tied up nicely, and was so cute! It had a sweet ending but it took work for everyone to get there.

Cute hockey romance. Kept me interested and in the story from star to finish. Can be a bit too predictable at times but all around a good read.

Heteronormative. Stereotypical gender-roles and women who constantly talk about men.

3.5 stars... I loooooved the deal (book 1) and was anxiously awaiting for this book 2. Unfortunately I can't say that it has met my expectations. The positive - the writing is awesome. Characters are well developed. Hannah and Garett from book 1 and the other two roommates were mentioned several times in this book giving the reader the long lost reunited they have been needing since The Deal (well me at least :)... There were several steamy scenes, Elle Kennedy had no problem delivering in that aspect either....

What I didn't like was the whole plot of this book. The mistake that the entire story is based on was so minuscule that honestly half way through the book I started wondering perhaps Logan makes another huge mistake because surely The whole story can't be based on this... I also didn't like The heroine- Grace. She can't even compare to Hannah in my opinion. I also didn't feel the spark between the hero and heroine again failing to meet the same expectations from book 1 that I was longing for.... The humor was also forced however there were some funny parts and when comparing this book to some other young adult romance books this author surpasses them by a long haul it's just that The Deal was an absolutely awesome read and I guess the author just couldn't meet the same expectations in book 2... I however will still be on the lookout for Dean's story, but pleaseeeee make the plot stronger and give us a bad ass heroine again like Hannah. Give us someone who will make Dean fall on his knees of awe of her....

I’ve read all the books in this series at least twice, some even three times if I’m being honest. Elle Kennedy wrote one of those books that you wish you could forget about so that you can go back and read it again.
The men in these books are charming, awesome and hot as hell and seriously there are no words to explain how I felt when reading this series.

Absolutely hilarious, you will love each and every word, and leave you with a big ass book hangover that lasts for days.

Strong sequel to "The Deal." I loved both characters and their romance came together in a really sweet way. I could believe that these characters were really committed to each other.

My only quibble was that I felt that Logan was cheated out of fulfilling his character growth. Grace learned some important lessons and made smart decisions about her friendships and boundaries. I wish Logan had a chance to do something similar for his own sake, especially since he was dealing with some pretty heavy stuff.

Definitely not as good as the first, from the synopsis I kept waiting for the separation and got sidetracked by that and when it would happen.
