    Introduction

    Magical Angkor Wat temple amazes more than 2 million visitors each year. However, there are more than 700 temples scattered around Angkor Wat and the nearby mountains and towns, with more than 50 temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park alone.

    Two very important waterfalls lie around 45 km from Siem Reap, Kulen Mountain, and Kbal Spean. These places are often confused with each other, as well as thought of as being together. They are however, on two different mountain, tops.

    Both places are must visits when you have the extra time in Cambodia. Although it is possible to see both in one day, it would be a rushed trip. Kbal Spean can be incorporated into a trip to Banteay Srei, but Kulen Mountain has so many additional things to see, that it warrants a full day here.
