INTRODUCTION: WHAT DOES IT MEAN - TO PLAY?
This is a fair question to ask, seeming as though the title of this book on abundance and prosperity features the word play
in it. Isn’t that something just reserved for children, and then as adults we can only be serious? Is that how we’re meant to live? Let me put this straight; such limited, in the box thinking is nonsense. We all have an inner child, of who will help us tap into our intuition and abundance.
Adults are designed to play too. When referring to the term play, it goes way beyond swings, slippery dips and parks to name. Play isn’t just about building sand castles on the beach. Play is rest yes, yet the true definition of play for adults (yes, letting that inner child out to come and play) is to engage in a task and activity (work, exercise or otherwise) in which you do not want such a task and activity to end. From a psychology doctors perspective (having treated a number of mentally ill individuals for almost a year now), the opposite of play in an individual is depression. The opposite of play is not to work, to toil in a job or business devoted as a career. Depression (the opposite of play) manifests as a result of chemical imbalances in the brain from too much fight or flight responses. In other words stress. Too much serving and giving to others, as opposed to receiving and some rest thrown in causes frustration. A lack of play (yes, a cause causes a certain effect) is the culprit for such a mental illness as depression, as well all of the possible dis-eases out there full stop.
Play is about engaging in new activities and challenges. You could doing something different, and/or nourishing yourself simultaneously without any care for materialism. This book is not a medical and/or scientific journal. Let That Inner Child Play is about allowing yourself to play more often. In fact, we are human beings
at the end of the day, as opposed to human doings.
On this, we should actually only be involved in fight or flight activities 30% of the time (in other words yang), and 70% of our time in rest and play - in yin, in flow. However, on this, the frequency is reversed.
This book is all about allowing you to enjoy more play in your life, irrespective as to how busy you are; how many hours you currently work; whether or not you are living an abundant life, and irrespective as to how healthy you currently are or otherwise. Let’s begin to close the gaps between where you are now, and where you want your life to be. Play is the answer to living abundantly. Play is achievable, and it does not take much.
Each chapter precedes the other. For example, if you want more abundance financially, you first need to understand what abundance really is. Read on. The first chapter is all about your abundance, and then realizing your dreams to enjoy being in play. Adults are meant to have fun too. Please listen to what that inner child inside has to say to you while you’re reading this book, chapter for chapter, word for word; and when you begin to apply everything you learn (it will be fun) in this book, results will show forth. Just one idea, one revelation will turn the tide of magical play to you.
Please, go ahead, let that inner child play :)
Justine
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.
- Marianne Williamson
CHAPTER 1: ABUNDANCE
Abundance - what a lovely, resonating word in accessing that inner child. Getting into that state of play that our creator intended us to nurture is to live abundantly. Abundance is the epitome of success, absolutely, however abundance is not something we focus on getting - it is a vibrational, energetic state we tap into.
No doubt, you may heard of The Secret - a concept of which focuses on one predominant universal law called The Law of Attraction. Abundance comes from focusing on what you want, yet abundance comes from positive words, actions, and by feeling absolutely happy.
Abundance comes from manifesting what you want, of which would naturally bring you more happiness, however life is not a one sided event. Irrespective as to what joys and challenges life throws at you, abundance is definitely possible and experienced. This is where the inner child glows, and will play with you more than ever.
As adults, seriousness knocks on our domain. Work, bills and other financial obligations. Not to mention the onset of stress succumbing to such seriousness. Children, on the other hand know what playfulness represents, and thereby they preach abundance so naturally. By reading and investing in this book, you’re now beginning to give yourself permission to harness that inner child that has been crying out to be nourished, and one that wants to play. Sure, there are still obligations and responsibilities that will not automatically disappear because you’re an adult, however life is meant to be balanced and centered. Give yourself permission to play, and also to work/to toil for service to humanity. This is living abundantly.
Our creator (through the bible and other original prosperity texts) has promised us abundance. For God has given us richly all things to enjoy.
This particular passage in such holy texts is not saying that we can have some stuff and go without in other areas; such a passage clearly states that we can definitely have it all.
Having it all is abundance, and to manifest more while feeling vibrationally good comes with more responsibility. Please
