    Early Life

    Wilbur and Orville Wright were brothers born to Milton and Susan Wright.

    Wilbur was their third child. He was born on April16, 1867, in Millville, Indiana. Orville was their fourth child. He was born on August 19, 1871 in Dayton, Ohio. They had two older brothers and a younger sister. Their sister, Katharine, was born on Orville’s third birthday.
