It was a big day for the Tigers Under-Tens Football Team. They were going to play the Galleywood Gazelles in the final of the Junior County Championship. If the Tigers won, they would take the County Shield home to Tottingham Town.
It was ten minutes before the big match. The Tigers ran on to the pitch. All except their striker, Billy Bright. Billy walked slowly out of the changing room. He looked worried.
‘What’s up, Billy?’ asked Rob.
‘It’s Dad,’ said Billy. ‘He’s got a problem.’
Billy’s dad was the Tigers’ coach.
‘What’s the matter with him?’ said Blocker. ‘He was all right just now.’
