It starts with the premise that one must eliminate the unnecessary stuff, activities and even people in life in order to make way for the necessary. Then it provides basic guidance on how to develop a minimalist budget, focusing on goals and objectives. This approach may be helpful to those who struggle with trying to stick to a budget when there are so many opportunities to spend money on things that ultimately will not bring joy into your life. One disappointment is that the book is poorly edited and filled with mistakes in grammar.
