      Introduction

      Each of us comes into this world with different gifts.

      Stop Look Listen is a guide book meant to empower you to tap into your gifts and utilize your Higher Self as your teacher to learn new things that I couldn’t possibly teach you. It’s also meant to teach you some tools to get you started along the path of the Intuitive Energy Healer. These tools you’re about to learn will help you tap into those gifts you were born with. Take what you learn here, and create your own specialized healing method.

      This book is basically three introductory classes rolled into one. Why? Because you can’t have one without the other two. You need all three pieces to truly connect with the healing power you already have inside you. You will learn the basics of energy healing, the basics of Intuition, and the basics of communication with the Spirit world. This information that I present to you is designed for newcomers to this line of work. But I have also had intermediate and advanced healers tell me that they, too, have learned something new from this information as well.

      When this book was brewing inside my head, I really had no idea what it would it look like. I didn’t even know what to call the book. With the help of some very supportive friends I met at an amazing resort in Tucson, I began the process when I was challenged by my mentor, Baeth Davis, to spontaneously write down the outline for the book in less than an hour. And I did.

      The next step was to title the book, and my friend and gifted card artist, Elisa Goodman, was so kind to take on the challenge to come up with the title. She literally spent all day thinking about it, even during her luxurious massage. When we finally caught up again that same day by the pool and chatted further about the book, the title for my book suddenly came to her. Stop Look Listen, she said, and continued with, A Practical Guide to Intuitive Healing. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

      When we were kids, we were always taught to Stop, Look, and Listen before crossing the street. So why not apply the same basic principles when talking about Intuitive Energy Healing?

      STOP FOR A MOMENT AND CONNECT WITH SPIRIT

      This basically means take a moment to regroup. Calm your mind. Take a moment to just relax. And connect with your Higher Self, with the Creator, with Spirit, with God, with Allah, with Buddha, with Krishna, with Gaia, or with whomever you feel to be your powerful connection: that energy source of unconditional love and pure divine guidance. For the sake of keeping things consistent, I will be calling this energy Spirit throughout the remainder of this book. But please feel free to replace the word Spirit with the One you feel most comfortable with.

      LOOK AND SEE THE LOVE THAT SPIRIT SURROUNDS YOU WITH

      With your physical eyes, notice the beauty and gifts that Spirit has given you. With your mind’s eye, notice the team of Angels and Guides just waiting for you to communicate with them. With your mind’s eye, you will learn how to look for what needs to be healed and how to heal it. You will learn how to meet your Guides and you will see them often once you meet them. You will learn how to look for signs from your Guides. You will also learn how to look for information and guidance that supports you and others along their journey in this life.

      LISTEN TO THE MESSAGES SPIRIT IS SHARING WITH YOU

      Yes, Spirit is talking to you. Your Guides are talking to you. Your Angels are talking to you. But can you hear them? When you listen in to the guidance they offer, you are given what I like to call the cheat sheet of life. They are anxiously warming the bench, waiting for you to call them into the game-- your game. What are you waiting for? Listen closely, and trust that voice. That voice always comes from a place of unconditional love, and only wants the best for you and everyone else on this Earth.

      I know you will enjoy your learning experience as you read this book, and as you practice the meditations and healing tools I offer you. There are no accidents or coincidences with this work, so know that you stumbled upon this book purposefully on purpose. Enjoy and remember to have fun!
