    Matt Sorensen is a pseudonym. It's taken from my Danish grandfather's first name (Matthias) and my grandmother's maiden name (Sorensen). They were proud, hardworking immigrants like the ones talked about in chapter 5 of my book "In the Bowl of Night." I was born in 1933 and served in the Navy during the Korean War.       Foreword

      By now, you will have discovered some of the fascination of radio drama. The images you conjure in your mind are so much more vivid than those offered by television. Of course they are even more vivid when enhanced by professional voices and sound effects.

      Episode-1, Critical Mess ended as Crock foisted off Manhattan's garbage on the Klakons. Perhaps they thought they were getting a bargain but they didn't count on their hostage, Rosetta Stein. (More of her in later installments.) Episode-2 begins with the crew's less than triumphant return to earth where they're ordered to clean up years of accumulated orbital litter and are nibbled into near extinction by voracious nanobots. But not to spoil the ending. As they used to say in late afternoon radio serials. Tune in tomorrow to see how, etc.
