A cute, quick, fun - it is part of the Long Tall Texans series that Diana Palmer has and even though they hint at some of the other brothers stories, don't really see it being necessary to read them all before this one.

An alcoholic father, a chance encounter in a risque costume after a Halloween party, and a mugging - the circumstances under which Meredith Johns meets Rey Hart are ripe for misinterpretation. And he does. But hey, the girl can bake biscuits. Readers will catch on to Meredith's secret long before Rey tumbles to it. It's nice to see one of Palmer's heroines with a bit of spine and a career she gets to keep!
