Glynna Kaye

Glynna Kaye treasures memories of growing up in small Midwestern towns, and vacations spent with the Texan side of the family. She traces her love of storytelling to family gatherings where they shared hours of what they called “windjammers”—candid, heartwarming, poignant and often humorous tales of their youth and young adulthood. Glynna now lives in Arizona, and when she isn’t writing she’s gardening and enjoying photography and the great outdoors.

At Home in His Heart by Glynna Kaye will be what I am reviewing today. I found this book to be good. There were moments where I thought come on with it about the two main characters Sandi Bradshaw and Bryce Harding. I just wanted them to be together so bad. I especially liked that the author wrote characters that may be uncommon to most but to the military are common. I thought she did a great job with telling a very real story of what they face when they get out of the service or lose a loved one. This is a Love Inspired romance by Harlequin. I found that it was nice that the characters believed in God and struggled with God’s will for each of them. Now Gina is another main character and what can I say about her? Oh, I know you will fall in love with her. The book takes place in a small town called Grand Springs in Arizona and in every small town every body knows everyone and this is the case in the story what I like is that the town is not the center of the book you only meet a few residents in the home town. You have your villains and those everyday people. Over all I found this story so heartwarming. The book at 217 pages is an easy read, one that is great for a rainy day or any day really. What I will take away from this book and learned from this book is that miscommunications are easy to have and are so important to fix. I also took that you should not judge a person without having met them. I give this three stars. I rate the books I read on a scale of one to five stars one being the worst and five being the best. I hope you get this one and enjoy it.
