When you’re sick, you’re sick as a whole person—not just with your physical being but with your mind, your emotions, and your spirit too. Your physical ailment affects every part of you—and, in turn, how every part of you is functioning affects your illness.
So, while you’re getting medical advice and care, there’s much more you can do to help in your coping and recovery. You can foster a positive attitude, give yourself encouragement, and tap into rich sources of spiritual and psychological strength.
At the same time, you
